About the project

The overall project purpose is to contribute to the implementation of effective municipal youth policy for genuine partnership among youth CSOs and local government youth departments. The project focuses on six municipalities in Georgia that face severe challenges of youth participation. The aim of the project is to support participatory youth policy development at a local level via piloting a capacity-building program in the six municipalities according to the strategic framework for youth policy development in Georgia. The expected outcome of the project is to have piloted a consistent approach to capacity building of municipal youth work structures.

About the organisation

Crossing Borders is a non-profit, civil society organization that educates and empowers young people to become active global citizens. Across cultures and professions, they provide platforms for young people to share ideas and form global associations, networks, and communities worldwide. In a learning environment where all participants are encouraged to grow and learn from one another, Crossing Borders wish to enable youth to share their best ideas, best products, and best practices.

Youth for Peace and Equality is a non-governmental organization with the mission to promote a peaceful and equal society, empower youth and raise awareness about peace, human rights, and gender equality. In order to meet this task, the association is implementing educational and youth development programs.

Youth Organization International Centre for Peace and Integration (ICPI) is a Georgian not-for-profit nongovernmental organization with a mission to provide the platform for the development of self-aware, progressive, and engaged youth in civil society. Their aim is to encourage personal growth, innovation and positive change through critical thinking, intercultural understanding, support for new initiatives and collaboration. The team of ICPI promotes democratic values, peace-building and social entrepreneurship for a more sustainable society. ICPI believe in the power of education as a means to plant the seeds of change in attitude and action.
